Data Deletion Instructions

What we store
KOLens stores the following data when you use the service:
- Account: email address, display name, encrypted authentication tokens (via Supabase).
- Usage: KOL profiles you discovered, lists you created, watchlist entries, conversations, AI-drafted messages, sent emails.
- Billing: Stripe customer id, transaction history (no card numbers — Stripe holds those).
- Telemetry: aggregated, anonymised request counts; we do not store IP-level logs beyond 30 days.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share KOL discovery results with third parties outside the workspace they were created in.
How to delete your data
You have three ways to request deletion:
1. Self-service in app (fastest, immediate)
- Sign in at kolens.ai/login
- Go to Account Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account.
- Type your email to confirm, then click Permanently delete.
- Your account, conversations, lists, and KOL discoveries are immediately removed from active databases.
2. By email
Email privacy@kolens.ai from the address registered with your KOLens account. Include:
- The email address you signed up with.
- A short statement: “Please delete all my personal data associated with this account.”
We confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days (typically much sooner).
3. Through Facebook / Meta
If you connected your Facebook account, you can also request deletion via Facebook’s Settings → Apps and Websites → KOLens → Remove. Once we receive the notification we treat it as a deletion request and follow the same 30-day timeline.
What gets deleted
- Your user record (email, name, auth credentials).
- All conversations, draft messages, sent emails you authored.
- Personal workspace + every list / watchlist entry owned by your personal workspace.
- Saved KOL discoveries scoped to your personal account.
- Billing identifiers we hold (Stripe customer id; Stripe retains its own copy per their own retention policy).
What we retain
For accounting, fraud-prevention and legal-defence reasons we keep the following for the period required by law:
- Aggregated, anonymised usage metrics (no link back to you).
- Billing / invoice records — kept up to 7 years where local tax law requires (e.g. EU, US).
- Audit logs of the deletion event itself (purely a hash of the deleted email + the timestamp).
If you joined a team workspace, conversations and lists owned by that workspace are retained — they belong to the workspace, not to you individually. Contact the workspace owner if you want a team-scoped record removed.
Timing
Self-service deletions are immediate. Email / Facebook requests are confirmed within 2 business days and completed within 30 days.

我们存储的数据
使用 KOLens 时我们会存储以下信息:

- 遥测:匿名聚合的请求数;我们 不 长期保存 IP 级别日志(超过 30 天即清除)。
我们 不 出售个人数据,不 把 KOL 发现结果分享给该数据所属 workspace 之外的第三方。
如何删除你的数据
有三种方式:
1. App 内自助(最快,即时生效)
- 登录 kolens.ai/login
- 进入 Account Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account
- 输入注册邮箱确认,点击 Permanently delete
- 账户、对话、list、KOL 发现记录会立刻从活跃数据库中清除
2. 邮件申请
从你的 KOLens 注册邮箱发送邮件至 privacy@kolens.ai,邮件内容包括:
- 注册时使用的邮箱地址
- 一句声明:「请删除我账户的所有个人数据」
我们会在 2 个工作日 内确认收到,30 天 内完成删除(通常更快)。
3. 通过 Facebook / Meta 平台
如果你绑定了 Facebook 账号,可以从 Facebook 设置 → 应用与网站 → KOLens → 移除。我们收到通知后会视为删除请求,同样按 30 天流程处理。
删除的范围
- 你的用户记录(邮箱、姓名、认证凭证)
- 你创建的所有对话、草稿、已发送邮件
- 个人 workspace 及其名下的 list / watchlist
- 归属于个人账户的 KOL 发现记录
- 我们保存的账单标识符(Stripe 那边按其自己的保留政策)
我们会保留的内容
出于会计、防欺诈、法律应诉的需要,以下信息按法律要求保留:
- 匿名聚合的使用数据(无法链接回个人)
- 账单 / 发票记录 — 部分司法辖区(如欧盟、美国)要求最长 7 年
- 删除事件本身的审计日志(仅保留邮箱 hash + 时间戳)
如果你加入了 团队 workspace,归属于团队的对话和 list 会保留(它们属于团队不属于你个人)。需要删除团队记录请联系 workspace 所有者。
时效
自助删除立即生效;邮件 / Facebook 请求 2 个工作日内确认、30 天内完成。
